Transcription: By using the eyedropper to sample colours in an imported scanned image such as this, I can then use these colours to paint the rest of my image. Simply select the eyedropper tool and click anywhere to sample a colour. If I now use command I to access paint style, the colour I clicked on is in the fill swatch. and I can run over the rest of the image and pick up various other colours. Notice the yellow exclamation triangle, this shows an RGB colour that cannot be reproduced accurately using the CMYK process, so you ought to try and avoid these.
